Summary

The tithe map shows two lanes which had been closed by 1874-5. In addittion the aligments of Church Lane and Rake Lane had been considerably changed. These changes were presumably part of the remodelling of the gardens at Backford Hall in 1857.

The tithe map shows two lanes which are no longer extant by 1874-5. In addittion the aligments of Church Lane and Gordon Lane have been considerably changed (1 & 2).

These changes were presumably part of the remodelling of the gardens in 1857 (3).
