A small L-shaped building is depicted on the tithe map for Backford. Described in the tithe award as 'house, buildings, yard etc.'. Occupied by Willian Mason and owned by Birkenhead Glegg (1).

Presumably demolished during the remodelling of the gardens in 1857 (2).
