A long building, probably a barn, with a yard described as a stackyard is depicted on the tithe map for Backford. The owner is recorded in the tithe award as Birkenhead Glegg and the occupier as William Mason. Presumably demolished during the remodelling of the Backford Hall's gardens in 1857.

A long building, probably a barn, with a yard described as a stackyard is depicted on the tithe map for Backford. The owner is recorded in the tithe award as Birkenhead Glegg and the occupier as William Mason (1).

Presumably demolished during the remodelling of the gardens in 1857 (2).
