Full Description
2 Shipgate St., or Shipgate House, appears to have been built in the late seventeenth century (because of surviving internal features of that date), but the facade seems to have been rebuilt in the mid-eighteenth century. The three-storey building with a basement is stone-dressed irregular Flemish bond red-brown brick with a hipped grey slate roof (1). Please see the linked listed building record for structural detail.
