Full Description
94 Lower Bridge St. was built in 1664 as a townhouse, but was soon converted into the Bear and Billet Public House (c1665). The timber framed, plaster panel building was built for the Earl of Shrewsbury, and has brick to the rear, a purple slate roof, and a ridge at a right angle to the front. The building is of three storeys in addition to cellars and an attic (1). Please see the linked listed building record for additional structural detail.
