Full Description
Archaeological investigations to the west of Garden Lane in 2011 identified two walls of possible 18th century origin. The evidence consisted of wall [1074] of brick construction on a north-south alignment across the trench surviving in situ to a height of nine courses (0.66m). Wall [1075] lay to the north of the first wall and appeared to be of a similar construction and five courses high (0.44m). Material recovered from the foundation courses of the walls were dated to the 17th-18th century. (1)
