Summary

Tower Wharf is a substantial wharf recorded to the south of the North basin and extending for much of the length of the canal between the basin and the Northgate locks. The wharf included a crane base and a number of mooring posts in the late 19th century, however, by the mid 20th century it had fallen out of use.
