Summary

Archaeological investigations at Delamere Street in 2004 identified a single medieval pit. The pit cut into the natural bedrock and was only observed in one corner of the trench, although not fully excavated, it contained quantities of medieval and disturbed Roman pottery.

Archaeological investigations at Delamere Street in 2004 identified a single medieval pit feature in test pit 11 of the investigations. The pit [113] cut into the natural bedrock and was only observed in one corner of the trench, although not fully excavated, it contained quantities of medieval and disturbed Roman pottery. (1)
