Monument record 10922 - 17th century tanning work at Bath Street

Archaeological investigations carried out to the rear of No 13 Bath Street identified evidence of 17th century pit or ditch feature containing quantities of leather and cattle horn-cores as well as other organic material suggesting that tanning or leatherworking was carried out in the area. (1)
