Full Description
Primitive Methodist chapel with an attached school opened on George Street (south side) in 1863. It was formerly the head of the First Circuit of Primitive Methodists in Chester before a new chapel was built on the north side of the street in 1888 (CHER 7116). Following the closure of this chapel it became a temperance hall until the mid 20th century when it was converted into commercial premises. (7)
