Full Description
A small quantity of medieval finds, including pottery sherds, roof and ridge tiles and floor tiles, were recorded during archaeological investigations at George Street School in 2001. Although no features were identified during the investigations, several misfired or over-fired examples of roof and ridge tiles were recorded suggesting a medieval tile kiln nearby. (1).
