Full Description
<1> Various, Various, Oral communication to the HER, Turner RC, 29/05/1987 (Oral Communication). SCH2330.
On the bank of the Wych brook, opposite the brine pit (CHER 1696/3), is a crescentic earthwork, which may relate to the salt working or may be an earlier stream channel.

The earthwork is visible on LIDAR survey (see 2) and it would appear to correspond to the course of the Wych Brook depicted on the c.1874-1876 Ordnance Survey map (see 3).
