Full Description
No 8 Upper Northgate Street consists of a hotel, known as the Bull and Stirrup Hotel, built in 1889 by W.M. Boden. It is of red Ruabon brick with Westmorland green slate roof. It is three storeys high of four bays width. There is a corner turret and a carriage entry to George Street. There is a tall shaped pediment-gable to entrance bay of stone and terracotta inscribed "BULL AND STIRRUP HOTEL" in gilt, with City and County arms. (1)
