Northgate Bakery was built 1905 with late 20th century alterations now in use as furniture showrooms and offices. It is of brown and red brick with some stucco and grey slate roof. It is of two and three storeys with a long central block between gabled east and taller west wings. The west wing has fascia inscribed "NORTHGATE BAKERY" in raised Edwardian lettering.
