Summary

Originally built as the Grosvenor Club and North and South Wales Bank, later Midland Bank, in 1883-4 by Douglas and Fordham. It was enlarged in 1908. It is of red sandstone and stone dressed brick with Westmorland green slate roof. The building is three storeys high. The east face to the City Wall is largely brick; windows have brick mullions, stone transoms and basket-arched upper lights.
