Summary

No 2-18 St Werburgh Street is a terrace of a bank and seven shops and offices built in 1895-9 by John Douglas. The ground floor is of yellow sandstone with plaster panelled timber framing above in the Vernacular Revival style that is common throughout the town. They are three storeys with a partial attic, one bay to Eastgate Street (the Bank) and nine bays to St Werburgh Street.

No 2-18 St Werburgh Street is a terrace of a bank and seven shops and offices built in 1895-9 by John Douglas. The ground floor is of yellow sandstone with plaster panelled timber framing above in the Vernacular Revival style that is common throughout the town.
