Full Description
No 2 Duke Street is currently in use as a public house, known as the Cross Keys, it was completely rebuilt in 1894 by W.M. Boden although the raised forecourt may be earlier. The pub is three storeys high with a beer cellar. The Duke Street facade has a round arched recessed porch at the west corner with Bridge Place. The upper floors are jettied. The interior has been altered but retains some of its original features. (1)
