Full Description
No 9 White Friars consists of two former town houses built in around 1720 but with later alterations to create a single town house. The cellar is probably medieval in origin.
The house is of three storey with towo sash windows on each level. The date 'JJ 1720' is inscribed on the central rainwater head.
The celar walls had recently been covered at the time of the inspection but are probably medieval sandstone. The floor and ceiling are later insertions. (1)
