Full Description
No 8-10 White Friars consists of two town houses, No 8 is a two storey house of probable 18th century date in brown brick with an irregular bond. No 10 is also of a 17th-18th century date although there is evidence of medieval stonework in the cellar. The whole was refaced in the late 19th century by T.M. Lockwood. (1)
The squared rubble sandstone cellar walls below White Friars Lodge (No 8) appears to be of medieval origin.
