A timber framed building, formerly known as St Nicholas’ Parsonage Hall, was recorded to the rear of No 16 Northgate Street fronting onto Smith’s Walk. The building was demolished in 1892. It has been suggested the property was medieval, perhaps 14th century, in origin.
