Full Description
This monument refers to the extant terrace along the west side of Abbey Square, four listed buildings are included, but fall under two designation records; No. 3 is DCH6719 and No’s 4 – 6 fall under DCH6720. No. 3 was constructed in c 1760, for prebendaries or leaseholders form the Dean and Chapter of Chester Cathedral. No’s 4 – 6 were probably built in 1771/1772 for Samuel Hostage, as a leaseholder from Dean and Chapter. Please see the linked designation records for structural detail (1).
