Full Description
No 46 Bridge Street is a stone undercroft, currently in use as a commercial property, largely of a late 19th century date replacing an earlier 18th century property. It was formerly part of the Owen Owen store on Bridge Street with the adjacent properties (No 44-50 Bridge Street).
The front facade of the undercroft consists of three stone piers with friezes and pediment decoration separating two bays. The south bay had three modern shop windows while the north bay has a deeply recessed modern entrance with four doors. The interior is entirely covered in modern material with no visible earlier features. The undercroft has since been converted into two properties of a single bay. (1)
