Full Description
No 29 Eastgate Street is an 18th century brick and stone undercroft, currently in use as a shop below a town house of a similar date. The undercroft consists of a modern street frontage, the interior is entirely covered making inspection impossible. Although believed to be of a mid 18th century date, it is likely that it was heavily altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. (1)
