Full Description
Unstratified, mid-eighteenth century clay pipe fragments were recovered during a watching brief on Nicholas St. Mews between 2009 and 2012 (1). The investigations were carried out during the installation of gas pipelines and involved a large number of trenches across the city. The material was recovered from Test Trench 30 (1).
