Full Description
Earthworks indicative of boundary banks, ditches and a trackway are visible on aerial photographs (1).
The earthworks correspond with field boundaries and a trackway depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1st Edition 25" to 1 mile map (2).
These features appear contemporaneous with the field boundaries in the immediate vicinity. The Historic Landscape Characterisation Project suggests a late medieval to early post medieval date (3 & 4).
