Full Description
Following the Dissolution, when the site of the former Grey friars had been given over to various new owners, a lane way connecting Watergate St. and a large private residence on the site , following the route of the inside of the city wall, was created. Formerly called Smith's Walk, the name changed to Greyfriars, and is now referred to as Nun's Road (1, 6).
