Full Description
The foundations and features relating to a 19th century tenement court on the eastern side of the site were identified during archaeological investigations at Murlain House in Union Street in 2002. The investigations identified a cobbled area believed to be the remains of Carter’s Court, an area of 19th century tenement housing along with structural remains to the south that may be related to the houses themselves.
