Monument record 10424 - Linen Hall Street / Crofts Lane

The lower part of the former medieval Crofts Lane is now Linenhall St., since the construction of the Linenhall in the early nineteenth century (1, 3). The upper part of the former Crofts Lane was since referred to as St Martin's in the Fields (CHER 10428). Lavaux's 1745 plan of the city shows this stretch of the street as Lower Lane (5).
