Full Description
Unpublished archaeological excavations carried out in 2007 at the former police headquarter's site on Nun's Road revealed at least two 'post medieval structures' along the western side of the site (1). A final report of the works has yet to be produced, but a brief summary of the Roman remains found includes a plan that has 'post medieval structures' marked in areas 4 and 3 (1). No other information on the nature of these remains is available.
