Full Description
Post medieval features was recorded during archaeological investigations at 49 Northgate Street in 2005. A pit was recorded in the upper fill of trench 1 [Context 12] while a later wall foundation or surface [Context 15] was identified overlying it. Although the pit itself could not be dated, a fragment of brick from the wall foundation suggested a possible date of the 17th to 18th century. (1)
