Find Spot record 10100/27 - Medieval finds at 29 Bridge Street

A small assemblage of medieval finds were recovered during limited archaeological investigation at 29 Bridge Street in 1998. Although the trenches were too small to adequately identify any archaeological features, a number of medieval finds were recovered including a single sherd of locally produced Cheshire ware of an early 13th century date and an unusual fragment of high quality orange ware possibly produced in Holland.
