Full Description
Archaeological investigations carried out during repairs to a mains sewer in Foregate Street in 1972 recorded traces of post medieval masonry close to the line of the city walls. The evidence comprised the foundations of a building of a possible 17th century date constructed against the medieval wall. (1)
