Full Description
The Regal cinema was built in 1937 by the Associated British Cinemas Ltd with seating for almost 2000 people. It was built in a restrained Art Deco style. The Regal was renamed the ABC cinema in 1959 and the Cannon in 1987, it finally closed in 1990 but the building so far survives. (1)
