Full Description

A Baptist chapel on Hamilton Place opened in 1806 for a congregation formerly of Commonhall Street. The chapel closed in 1912 and has subsequently been demolished (6).

The chapel is present on first edition OS Mapping of 1874 (2) and 19th century 1:500 town plan of 1875 (3). The building is not labelled on the second and third edition OS Maps of 1898 (4) and 1911 (5).
