A single prehistoric find was recovered during archaeological investigations at Weaver Street in 1994. The artefact was a well preserved worked flint core recovered from the base of Trench 1 above the sandstone bedrock but it appeared to be an isolated findspot. Thought to be Neolithic to Bronze Age in date (1)
