Full Description
Archaeological investigations to the rear of 25 Bridge Street in 2001 identified a layer of sandstone rubble [Layer 1237] and soil deposition over much of the Roman evidence including the late Roman east-west aligned road surface. The layer may also have included demolition spread from the adjacent fortress baths (1)
