Full Description
A relatively large amount of residual Roman pottery (81 sherds) was recovered from post medieval contexts during an archaeological evaluation immediately east of the Dee House in 1994 (1). The material is clearly derived from disturbed deposits in proximity to the amphitheatre, but this particular evaluation did not impact upon Roman levels (1).
