Full Description
An assemblage of Roman pottery, dating broadly to between the second and fourth century, and ceramic building materials, recovered as residual finds from disturbed post medieval contexts in the Roman Gardens in 2011 (1). The trenches were excavated to a relatively shallow depth, and any potential undisturbed Roman deposits, if they exist at this location, were not reached (1).
