Summary

A farmhouse dating from the late seventeenth or early eighteenth century. The farmhouse is built of brick and has a slate roof. It is listed at grade II.

Farmhouse: early eighteenth century with mid nineteenth century fenestration. Flemish bond brown brick, graduated Welsh slate roof with stone ridge, two gable and one ridge brick chimney. Rectangular plan. Two-storey and attic, four-bay, south front. Plain bands at first and second floor. Windows are two-light casements, some with a glazing bar, in plastered plain architraves with deep wedged lintels with slightly accentuated keyblocks. Original doorway in second bay now has a window and door is now at the right end in a similar architrave. Attic storey has two four-pane casements and a blocked window. Lean-to addition to left side. Bands continue on all sides. Interior: Central room has inglenook fireplace with stone seats and niches inside. Chamfered bressumer and ceiling beam with tongue stops. To rear original dogleg stair with heavy handrail and continuous square newel post. Balusters are lost. Door with two fielded panels upstairs.

Late seventeenth century, two storeys and attic, four window brown brick farmhouse, with wing to north. Slate roof. Floor bands. Near-flush casements. Interior. Stopped bevelled beams, including above inglenook. Two - panel doors. Original staircase, full height with turned baluster close string and square newels. Original purlins.
