Former grade III Listed Building Special Architectural or Historic Interest (see 3). Large Georgian building now rendered with an added pseudo-renaissance porch (plastic). Replacement windows. Stressed voussoirs and keystones. Several out shuts to one side. Late eighteenth century, though a date of 1668 has been quoted. Condition good, but greatly altered in 1974.

Late eighteenth century with alterations and additions. Two storey, four windows, roughcast. Slate roof. Recessed windows with glazing bars. Near flush frame sash windows at eastern end (on return). Wood door case, somewhat altered, with fluted pilasters, and fielded panels to reveals. Altered entrance door.

Possibly the site of the Brokehowse mentioned in fifteenth and seventeenth century documentary sources.
