Summary

The site of a sandstone cottage dating from the eighteenth or early nineteenth century. The building was surveyed in 1977 when the building was already derelict. By this time, the thatched roof, had been replaced in corrugated iron. The building was demolished in the late 1980s or early 1990s, but below ground archaeological remains may survive in this area.

Sandstone blocks squared and coursed. Corrugated iron roof. Wooden casements with broken panes. Outshut at rear. Once thatched. Present use: Empty. Derelict. Walls cracked and bulging. Roof rusting. Overgrown. Orchard well-tended.
