Full Description
Coin of Geta (c. 208AD) of unknown provenance. it is quoted by Raspin de Theyras, in 1732, and protrayed by Wencelas Hogger (1607-1677). It is also drawn by Speed, on his map of Chester (1). Inscribed COL.DEVANA LEG. XX VITRIX (2). Ormerod does not suggest a provenance. Latham appears to suggest Christleton since the coin is shown near the village on early maps.
