Full Description
Possible site of a stone cross. Reported to be originally opposite the Red Lion, but has since disappeared except for one piece of the octagonal shaft now used as a stepping stone, 100 yards or so from its original site (1). The OS report no trace of a cross near the Red Lion. The stepping stone is at SJ41795632, but it is doubtful if it is the remains of a cross shaft (2).
