Part of sub-rectangular enclosure cut by the A41 Whitchurch Road. Measures c.75m x 130m with curved corners & possible entrance. Possible Roman military site

Three sides of camp visible as cropmarks in a field to the west of the A41. Part of site destroyed by road and housing. Measures c. 120m by 80m with clear entrance c. 15m wide. Original area probably c. 1.2 ha, smaller than average

No. 15. One of a group of a series of subrectangular enclosures within a few kilometres of Chester. A discussion about the interpretation of these features can be found in this article. New discoveries from aerial photography and excavation support a Roman Military origin.
