Full Description
To the east of the moat is a fish pond approximately 60m by 40m which has been filled in and ploughed out but shows clearly on 1985 air photographs (2). No sign was found of any leat from the moat to the fish pond but the area has been heavily disturbed. On the east side of the fish pond is a marl pit (2013/1/3) shown on the Ordnance Survey map (1).
