Summary

Two adjoining stone barns with slate roofs which form the northern side of the square farmyard. These buildings probably date from the mid to late eighteenth century.

The north-western building has a shallower roof pitch which creates a higher ceiling to the first floor. Fairly regular sandstone block with windows partly filled in with modern brick. Small vents. Dentilled cornice and cast gutters. Roof lights. Tight joints. 'S' shaped bracing bar. Tile ridge.

The south-eastern building has later stonework: regular rectangular shaped block with rough face. Larger slate. Cast iron gutters. Window removed. Large open doorways. Ridge tiles
