Denarius, Mark Antony 'galley' type and LEG(ION) XI and standards. Late 30s BC. Found by Wrexham Metal Detecting Club, handed into Grovesnor Museum for recording in 1996.

Silver Denarius of Mark Antony (32-31 BC). Obverse depicts a galley sailing right; the legend is illegible. The reverse depicts a legionary eagle between two standards, with 'LEG XI' inscribed below.
