Full Description
Residual Roman finds, consisting of tile and a small amount of animal bone with butchery marks, recovered during a watching brief at the Cheshire Records Office, Duke St., Chester, in 2000 (1). The finds were from contexts that also contained post-medieval material, and although the excavators noted that they could represent some form of Romano-British activity in this area, no further comments are possible (1).
