Full Description
A deposit of an indeterminate nature was recorded during a watching brief to the rear of 13 Bath St. And was found to contain a small amount of Roman pottery, including Samian ware, and one tegula fragment (1).
The sediment was homogeneous greyish brown clayey silt. Because of the limited extent of the excavations, the exact nature of this deposit is not clear.
