Full Description
The excavation of geotechnical pits in Grosvenor Park in 2011 produced Roman period finds in varying amounts across the area. In Test Pit 7, however, a clear Roman soil horizon of light reddish brown silty clay was identified. The layer contained pieces of Roman pottery (1).
